  • Heartwood is a sacred place to me. I've been there for two retreats, and have really felt rejuvenated and reaffirmed in my life. The setting, the views, the perfect balance of comfort and simplicity, the animals, trails, wildlife, trees, and most of all-- the temple-- are all parts of this experience for me. Having access to the kitchen any time I need it is great, and the fact that it's so intimate and basic-- but rich in what matters-- is what makes this place so special.

There are 3 Community Kitchens spread across campus:

  1. Bodhi Lodge

  2. Manzanita Lodge

  3. Main Lodge right next to the Kiva Classroom.

Each kitchen is stocked with a refridgerator, oven, stovetop, cookware, dish-ware and utensils. You just bring the food.

Shared Kitchens Include

  • Electric Hot Water Kettle

  • Coffee Maker, French Press, Pour Over Cone, Filters

  • Assorted Teas

  • Enclosed dry food containers for guests

  • Plates, Bowls, Mugs, Cups

  • Stainless Steel Pots, Pans

Main Lodge

Our Main Lodge can host large groups with it’s commercial kitchen. Ideal for having your own catering crew handle meals and refreshments.
